Help With Vet Bills

Welcome to my blog about getting help with vet bills!  I’m glad you found this site and hope to you can use this blog as a resource for you and your pets.  Since you are reading this post I think you are already aware of the high price of vet bills.

Through this blog I hope to post resources to help those in need as well as those who want to take a preventative approach to lowering their vet bills.  It is possible to dramatically lower the amount you send at the vet’s office and at the same time lower your chances of having a large vet bill.

Did you know that veterinary costs are rising at twice the rate of inflation.  If your income is only going up by 3 or 4% a year that means each year you are spending more and more of your money at the vet’s.

Also if you think pet insurance is the answer to rising pet costs think again.  According Consumer Reports pet insurance can add thousands to the costs of owning a pet and you rarely get any benefit back, which is why Consumer reports considers it a bad buy.

Pet insurance companies have improved over the years but you will likely not find help with vet bills from them.  Just do a simple Internet search for pet insurance scams or pet insurance reviews and you will find lots of results from people just like yourself who thought they would be covered by pet insurance but where not.

They were then left to pay for large bills by themselves, while at the same time continue to pay of monthly insurance premiums.  I’ll type more on this subject in future posts.
