Having someone pet-sit for your dog or walk them is not cheap. And if you pay for doggie day care it can cost anywhere from $25 to $50 a day depending on where you are located.
Dog walkers normally charge $15 to $20 a walk based on length of time.
So if you pay someone to walk your dog your are spending almost the same as sending your dog to doggie day care.
If you do send your dog to doggie day care, make sure they are fully vaccinated and dewormed. Most quality day care centers should require this before your dog even enters the door. If they do not, I would question how safe the place is for your dog.
One way to save money here is to just do it yourself. If you are married or have kids someone should be able to squeeze in a walk. Also there might be an elderly neighbor that is retired that might have time to walk your dog for you.
